Notably, Brian recently concluded a significant milestone with the successful sale of his company, Key Surgical, to STERIS, marking a culmination of strategic vision and operational excellence. Prior to this achievement, Brian honed his leadership skills over a span of 12 years at Guidant Corp, where he held various management positions, culminating in the stewardship of the company's esteemed Stent Business Unit. Additionally, Brian's entrepreneurial spirit and adeptness in navigating the intricacies of venture capital were demonstrated during his tenure as CEO of a cardiology startup, where he effectively secured essential funding, paving the way for innovation and growth in the field.

With a distinguished career spanning 14 years as a cardiologist, coupled with a decade of leadership experience at the Minneapolis Heart Institute (MHI), Marc has cultivated a deep understanding of cardiovascular healthcare dynamics and the evolving landscape of medical technology. Throughout his tenure, Marc has actively engaged with national cardiology leaders, fostering collaborative relationships with organizations such as Med Axiom and the American College of Cardiology. As a testament to his commitment to advancing innovation in healthcare, Marc has proudly served on the Board of Directors and Investment Committee of MHI Ventures since its inception, leveraging his expertise to drive strategic investment decisions and propel the growth of pioneering medical technologies.

As a general cardiologist at the Minneapolis Heart Institute (MHI), Joshua has assumed the role of directing the TeleHeart service, a cutting-edge virtual care initiative aimed at enhancing patient access and healthcare delivery efficiency. Prior to his tenure at MHI, Joshua held the esteemed position of Chief of Cardiovascular Services at Swedish Medical Center, where he spearheaded strategic initiatives to optimize patient care and operational effectiveness. In addition to his clinical and leadership roles, Joshua is an active investor in the Seattle-based Alliance of Angels, aligning his passion for healthcare innovation with strategic investment opportunities to foster the growth of emerging ventures in the medical technology sector.

With dual degrees in Physics and Medicine, Peter brings a unique blend of scientific rigor and clinical expertise to his role as Section Head of Advanced Heart Failure & Transplant and Critical Care Cardiology at the Minneapolis Heart Institute. Within this capacity, Peter oversees comprehensive programs dedicated to addressing complex cardiac conditions and providing advanced care solutions. As a testament to his commitment to advancing the field, Peter serves as the Section Editor of Mechanical Circulatory Support for the American Society of Artificial Internal Organs Journal, guiding the dissemination of cutting-edge research and insights in this specialized area. Peter's extensive contributions to academia include authorship of over 100 peer-reviewed publications and serving as a reviewer for more than 25 esteemed journals, reflecting his dedication to advancing scientific knowledge and promoting excellence in cardiac care.

With a multifaceted professional background, David initially forged a path as an economist and trader before transitioning into the legal realm. David's diverse experience provided him with a comprehensive understanding of financial markets and regulatory frameworks. As a decorated military officer, David earned recognition, including the Air Force Commendation Medal in 2013, for his commitment to excellence and leadership. Transitioning to the legal field, David served as a Judge Advocate, leveraging his legal expertise to navigate complex legal challenges and ensuring the protection of rights within the military environment. Combining his knowledge of law and finance, David founded a pioneering legal fin-tech firm, bridging the gap between traditional legal practices and innovative financial technologies to deliver tailored solutions for clients in an evolving digital landscape.
